The model focuses on screening process within the programme and includes main activities assumed in the programme, costs and effectiveness measures

  • The results show that introduction of intervention under assessment results in increased number of patients properly diagnosed by GP and increased number of patients with adequately quick diagnosis and treatment initiation
  • However, also additional costs are generated and cost-effectiveness results show how much is to be paid for respective effects
